Bursting with flavor, these Thai-style chicken fried rice lettuce wraps are a quick & easy dinner solution, perfect for busy weeknights!
We’re in the heart of summer now, and I’m all about quick, light dishes that come together in minutes. This chicken fried rice has become one of our favorites.
It’s so simple to prepare, you will just love it.
I found Ling Ling Fried Rice in the freezer section this week, and was excited to check a new product to the market! It comes in all sorts of flavors… Yakitori Chicken, Yakiniku Beef, Thai-Style Chicken, Chinese-Style Vegetable, and Bibimbap Beef. Yum! I love how the varieties are based on pure and authentic Asian inspired recipes from Japan, China, Korea and Thailand. Plus they’re made with high quality ingredients, and no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives! We chose to try out Thai-Style Chicken and Chinese-Style Vegetable.
At our house, stir fry is a staple of our weeknight meals. I rely on this style of cooking at least once a week, for quick & easy meal prep, not to mention the veggies I can add in. It’s always a satisfying meal for everyone.
That being said, I love this new Ling Ling Fried Rice because all the work is already done for me! Just toss it into a skillet, and heat up, just like a stir fry.
The meat is included (except for the Chinese-Style Vegetable, of course), and the veggies cook up nice and crisp. The rice is infused with the Ling Ling sauce, which makes the dish so flavorful. The cooking method is called Infusion Cooking, and it means that each grain of rice is infused with Ling Ling signature sauces for authentic restaurant taste in every bite. Love that! This dish totally reminded us of yummy restaurant meals we’ve had in the past.
I tucked the Thai-Style Chicken Fried Rice into butter lettuce cups, and served with soy sauce. It was a big hit! My kids loved the flavor of the rice, and I thought the lettuce wraps really added a lightness to the meal. Perfect for summer!
Not to mention, only took minutes to cook. Seriously, this meal was freezer to table in about ten minutes. Can’t beat that! The Ling Ling Fried Rice really fits into our busy lives, and it’ll become a go-to meal on weeknights. I’ll definitely be relying on this in the fall, when school starts up again.
