Enjoy the season with friends and share a bottle of Day Owl Rosé. This crisp, fruit-forward California Rosé pairs beautifully with the Pecan-Crusted Goat Cheese + Apple appetizer.
National Rosé Day (June 9th) is coming up, and I’m already planning a night with my best girlfriends. Friends who Rosé together, stay together!
We all love the bright, citrusy flavor of Day Owl, and toast to years of friendship while enjoying light appetizers under the stars. These Pecan-Crust Goat Cheese apps are exactly the dish for a night of sipping Rosé and catching up with friends.
Start by rolling the goat cheese into balls, and lightly rolling on the pecan pieces. Cut a baguette into small slices, drizzle with olive oil, and toast in the oven until golden brown.
Allow to cool, then top with a thin slice of tart green apple. Add the goat cheese & finish off with a light drizzle of honey. YUM.
You’ll love the crunch of the pecans and apple, combined with the smooth, lightly tart flavor of the goat cheese. And everyone loves a crostini! It all feels very casual and summery.

Cocktails and appetizers are one of my favorite ways to entertain, and I’ve noticed that Day Owl pairs well with all types of appetizers and dishes. Its fruit-forward flavor complements any sides you choose to serve with it. A chilly glass is just the thing for a hot summer night. And I know I’ll be trying out some fun Rosé cocktails this season! Maybe add some fresh fruit as a garnish or a light splash of seltzer? Sounds like a party to me!
