Power kids up after school with Eggo’s and yummy cake batter dip– with protein!

Cake Batter Dip

The back-to-school season is upon us! Time for new routines, new clothes, and new snack and meal ideas to fuel our kids all day long. We love Eggo® products like the Eggo® French Toaster Sticks and Eggo® Waffles for quick breakfast or snack options for our hungry kids.

Easy to grab & the kids LOVE them. Gotta love quick meal ideas from the freezer!

Plus, right now, buy 3 participating Eggo® products with Crayola packaging and get $5 off of Crayola products! My daughter chose the Crayola Doodle Scents Scented Markers. What’s more fun than scented markers?!

Besides, these aren’t your average scents… Breath of Fresh Air? Barn Yard? Too funny. We got such a kick out of the original ideas for scents.

We printed the FREE downloadable Crayola activity booklet, and she got busy coloring. By the way, she’s dressed as a cat, whiskers and all. Hey, whatever keeps them busy, right?! I love this girl’s imagination.

I could totally see my daughter coloring, snacking on Eggo® goodies and just decompressing from the school day. It’s important to fuel their bodies and minds, and I encourage my grade-schooler to have a filling snack and color for a bit after school, before she dives into homework or other activities.

Her favorite snack are the Eggo® French Toaster Sticks, so I wanted to make this snack even more fun and add a cake batter dip!

Needless to say, she was on board.

Cake batter dip is so easy to whip up. Just stir together plain Greek yogurt, whipped topping, powdered cake mix, and sprinkles.

Use the Eggo® French Toaster Sticks as dippers and go. to. town.

Sorry to be a downer after that other downer! Unhealthy breakfasts are perfectly acceptable if they are spread out. Families should allow themselves a special little celebration now and then!

People need to simmer down lol
I’m not about feeding my kid sugar all the time…anyone who knows me knows this…
    But his birthday is Sunday…
    His 16th
and I bet this would be the best breakfast on your birthday.
    No- not every day….
Honestly..someone who WOYLD feed this to their kids on a normal dat..isn’t someone that would take the time to make it…
It’s for sleepover mornings…birthdays…special fun make a memory morning moments..
    Enough for the negative..
