This Pina Colada protein smoothie makes early mornings just a little bit easier. All the tropical flavors of a Pina Colada in a protein-packed smoothie.
High of 71 degrees today. I had to wear a fleece outside, people. I know the weather today will seem downright tropical when the polar vortexes start rolling through, but I’m already missing summer.
So I decided to do something about it.
I made a Pina Colada-inspired protein shake to make those early school mornings just a little bit easier.
I used an Almondmilk Coconutmilk Blend as the base for this yummy drink. I mean, vanilla, almond, and coconut? That’s like half a (not-a) Pina Colada right there.
Add in some frozen fuit, and blend until smooth. Just a few minutes to a yummy breakfast that will fill you up. I love the idea of coconut milk blended with almond milk. So tasty & full of the good stuff!
Add a handful of almonds (these are out of this world) and you have a protein-packed breakfast that will last you well into lunch.
Blend it up & pour into a travel tumbler. I love this one for keeping hot beverages hot & cold ones cold. It’s my best friend on days when my schedule takes me from dawn til dusk (and beyond!).
Make yourself a smoothie & sip on the go… it’s perfect.
