Another week of school and soccer gone by. This one was a bit of a blur, since I had a death cold for a couple of days. I think I got it from a family party this weekend… but it was awful.
I was thankful that I could take medication again (bye bye pregnancy, hello Nyquil!) and that no one else in my family got sick—yet.
Other things I’m thankful for this week:
That my girls get along this well.
Honestly, how sweet is that? Brianna just loves to stare up at Alyssa.
In five years, when they’re fighting, I’ll make Alyssa hold Bree like this. Ha.
That my baby sleeps so well. Anywhere, anytime.
That kid is always so relaxed.
Even though, now that I look at it, she looks like she’s about to start crying. She’s not. It’s her sleeping face.
And finally, I’m thankful for interesting articles I stumble upon during midnight feedings.
Like this one, which is both fascinating and kinda freaky, about how Target might know you’re pregnant before you tell friends & family. I read it with my jaw on the floor.
Or this one, 10 Things Women Like To Do Alone. Um, “share-free eating”, anyone??
And a great one about making the effort to find a support group of moms. We all need each other, to laugh about our husbands or lament over potty training. Find your village!
Enjoy your weekend! Thanks for reading along.
