Yesterday it was summer…today it is fall.
Seriously, the weather dropped 20 degrees. I guess I don’t mind. It was getting pretty hot and humid around here.
Things are going well with the third (?) week of Kindy. Alyssa is loving soccer, and finally getting the hang of it. In fact, I’ve had to learn the rules of the game too. #idontwatchsports
Apparently, my baby doesn’t either. She took a little snooze in my arms at practice.
She is one of the most relaxed babies I’ve ever met. Thank goodness she’s mine.
And these are the most chill cats….
Did you know that before you can have flooring installed in your house, it needs to sit in your house for 72 hours? So it can… get acclimated, I guess….to your house. It sounds kinda crazy, but we had flooring in our house for a week before it was installed upstairs. I’m on a mission to rid our house of carpet. It’s just not my thing. Area rugs all the way.
Another happy addition to the house?
I put up the canvasses that my sister-in-law, Ashley, painted for Bree’s room.
See the carpet? Must go.
I’ll reveal more of the nursery when it’s totally done. Right now, she’s so little that her pack n play, rock n play, and all the other “plays” are everywhere.
My food–for-thought article of the week?
