Let’s see… what have I been up to?
Getting bigger, everyday. Actually that’s not true. They weighed me at my 34 week appointment today and I had actually lost a pound. That was unexpected. But, baby’s fine- as am I- so it’s nothing to worry about. I certainly feel like I get bigger everyday.
In fact, as I type on the computer, I have to lean slightly back. If I lean forward too much, baby girl gets squished and kicks me in response. Ha.
We also had some decent days this week, like 60’s. No coat weather. I’ll take it!
I’ve been reading chapters of this book whenever I can. So funny! Last Saturday, I was reading it with Sean in the room, and I actually had to stop because I felt like such a weirdo cracking up to myself.
On a rainy day this week, the Boo and I checked out a new playplace. My daughter LOVES playplaces. She will run around until she nearly drops to the ground. From the slide picture, it looks like she was alone, but the place was actually packed. I went down that slide ONE TIME with my preggo belly, and that was it for me!
They had cute little gelato scoops for the kids… ok, I had one too, but they were the perfect size for a little snack. Great place for a kid to burn off some energy.
Holy strawberries! A week went by, and the strawberries doubled in size. The produce is out! And budget-friendly, so cheers to that.
I’ve had some rough days this month, not sure if it’s the pregnancy hormones, or just the waiting game (cold weather, baby coming), but I’ve been on the look-out for inspiration anywhere I can find it. I saw this recently and just loved it. Sometimes we need to be as strict about taking care of ourselves as we are about things like work, cleaning, errands, etc.
My daughter has made leaps and bounds lately when it comes to “getting along” with the cats. She loves them, but doesn’t always know how to give them attention in such a way that they stick around. Boots, in particular, barely tolerates her. For some reason, on this particular day, he chose to lay down next to her. And they cuddled. I, of course, sprinted for the camera.
How was your week?? Link up!
