Ok, so I’m getting started on this pretty late, but here goes!
A pretzel shop opened up by my house, and it puts Auntie Anne’s to shame. We’re talking pork-stuffed pretzels, s’mores pretzels, even a corned beef-stuffed pretzel for St. Patrick’s Day. They have a line out the door and sell out of their pretzel of the day within hours. Plus, they have soups, so you can make a legitimate lunch out of pretzels.
The only one I’ve tried so far is the cheese-topped one above, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting in their lunch line once a week.
I won’t say anything about the ridiculous weather we’ve been having, but I will say that I love the little spring touches around my house. This IKEA candle is adorable, and smells so light and fresh. I also love this one.
I tried out a new crockpot meal this week, and it was a success! I took pictures, but let’s be honest, some of the tastiest crockpot meals don’t turn out real cute. Basically, I threw the chicken, salsa, and cream cheese into the crockpot, and we had creamy, spicy tacos for dinner. So good… easy, cheap, husband-approved, all that good stuff.
My daughter loves water. Puddles, the pool, the bathtub any kind of water. When she gets on a kick of playing in the sink, we have this scene in our bathroom for a while. Makes me smile. She won’t be this age forever.
Have you tried Pinch Me? I heard about them here, and got my first sample this week. I swear this is not an ad (or a referral link), just thought it was so fun to receive a free coffee in the mail. We love Gevalia in this house, and this new product they have is so cool. You dump the froth packet in first, and then brew the coffee, and get legit foam on top of your drink. It was so good. I immediately went back to the Pinch Me site to see when I could get my next freebie. FYI, it’s April 1st.
That’s all for this week! See you Monday!
