It is COLD here in Chicago. Be thankful if you live someplace warmer.
And on that note, here’s what I’m grateful for this week:
Sean painted the kitchen a bluish-gray. It was pale yellow before (why do I never think to take “before” shots??) and kinda washed out the room. The gray is a nice upgrade.
Until we do the counter-tops….and maybe the cabinets….
A close-up of the color behind one of our favorite parts of the kitchen, our his and her key holders. These cuties have saved us so many times!
Saw this at Target, Walgreens, etc. etc. Sean really wants me to make them for his co-workers. They are pretty clever.
My daughter came home from school and suggested a picnic in the kitchen for lunch. Maybe they were talking about picnics in school?
Side note: she’ll own it in yoga class someday.
Anytime I have a chance on the weekends to sit with book in the middle of the day, I like to document it. I’m just in that part of my life where moments like that are rare. Finally got around to reading the book from one of my favorite bloggers.
Ooops, there’s a chocolate bar on Jennifer Lawrence’s face. I hope that doesn’t upset her too much when she reads this post.
And finally, I stumbled on this blog at a linky party, and the pictures took my breath away.
I could stare at that picture all day and think happy winter thoughts.
Wishing you a cozy, relaxing (& warm!) weekend.
