I love my cats, but I’d say the biggest downfall to having cats (besides accidents) is that you can’t have any plants or flowers in the house.
No cute herbs on the kitchen window sill.

No holiday flower centerpiece.

They chew them up as if they’ve never been fed. Or ever will be again. Sigh.
Us cat owners must rely on paper flowers to brighten up our spaces. I found this simple tutorial for paper roses and decided it would be perfect for a punch of color in my bedroom.
Cut a circle out of construction paper, and a spiral out of that circle.
Wrap the spiral around a pen/pencil/your finger and fasten with glue dots. (glue dots are the best, right?)
String them on branches, I got mine at Michael’s.
Now put them on a high shelf that cats can’t reach;)
